My art is a conversation with Spirit that’s inspired by nature and my personal self-healing journey. I offer my vulnerability using creativity as a vessel to recount the story of my journey as a means of reflective healing.

Through drawing, I create visual tapestries of my encounters between myself and Spirit. These are mosaics are of dreams, emotions, and trauma, not able to be put into words, that have been transmuted abstractly instead.

kwè.

kwè* is an archival series, created in 2016 to honor and archive the conversations of healing and growth regularly taking place around me. They are clips of dialogue shared between loved ones, paired with nature videos taken from my travels.

*kwè is Haitian Kreyòl for “to believe.”
